This book does have fun moments and can be entertaining (it is essentially Bridget Jones's Diary for moms). Some of Slummy Mummy's disasters seemed too outrageous and far too frequent to be plausible. The ending seemed especially so. My main criticism is that the book was unnecessarily long for the story it was telling and seemed to drag on/5.
